State Police investigating fatal Bucks County fire

A woman and her dog were found deceased in the home Wednesday.

Pennsylvania State Police out of Dublin announced Thursday that its Fire Marshal is investigating the cause and origin of a fatal fire on the 1800 block of Mountain View Drive in Haycock Township, Bucks County that broke out early Wednesday morning. 

Police said the 4 a.m. fire fully engulfed the home. A woman and a dog were found dead by the back door, police said.

Dublin Criminal Investigation Unit, Troop M Forensic Services Unit, Ottsville Volunteer Fire Company, Bucks County Fire Marshal, Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms and the Bucks County Coroner assisted at the scene.
