Woman, dog killed in early Wednesday morning Bucks County fire

The fire on Mountain View Drive began around 4 a.m.

A Haycock Township, Bucks County woman and her dog died in a Wednesday morning blaze near Quakertown.

The fire broke out around 4 a.m. on the 1800 block of Mountain View Drive, according to NBC10, and fire crews found the home fully engulfed in flames.

Initial dispatch reports stated the home has an attached barn with possible entrapment.

The woman, whose name is being currently withheld, and her dog were found deceased at the back door of the home, according to Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Nathan Branosky.
