Warrington Township Police are seeking the identities of six people who filled up several carts with groceries at Wegmans, took the merchandise to their cars, and then immediately went back into the store to commit the same crime again, without being stopped or caught.

Police said the incident occurred Oct. 12 at 10:28 p.m. at the 1405 Main St. store, but it was released to the public Nov. 29.

Authorities said the sextet stole more than $1,000 in merchandise. The vehicles used in the shoplifting incidents included a silver Jeep Cherokee, a luxury sedan, and an older tan sedan, police said.

Anyone with information about the suspects is urged to contact Officer Arelas at 215-343-3311, ext. 280 or [email protected].
