A Plumstead Township man has been jailed on 10% of $2.5 million bail on charges of felony statutory sexual assault of a juvenile between the ages of four and eight years old, according to Plumstead Township Police.
Fernando Santos Tzij-Noriega, aka Santos Tzub Alfaro, 24, is also charged with felony corruption of minors for an incident stemming from July 1 in the township, per court records.
On Nov. 18, police received a report of a man, identified as Tzij-Noriega, that allegedly had sex with a juvenile female. He was taken into custody four days later without incident, police said.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 16 at 9 a.m. before Magisterial District Judge Gary Gambardella.
