The nature center, bird blind and visitor center at Peace Valley Park in New Britain Township continues to be closed as Bucks County Parks and Recreation undergoes renovations at the nature center.

According to its website, the nature center and bird blind are closed for renovations to the center, but trails and public restrooms remain open. All scheduled events have not changed. Peace Valley Park trails are open sunrise to sunset daily.

According to the Bucks County Herald, the center needed extensive repairs, including a new roof and HVAC system and remediation from vermin infestation.

The parks and recreation board and Commissioners approved $190,000 for renovations earlier this year.
