Warrington Township Police have announced a warrant for a Philadelphia man wanted in connection with a shoplifting incident in April 2024 at TJ Maxx.

Police said Nahteef Darnel Williams, 36, has numerous prior theft convictions, and is facing charges of felony retail theft, felony receiving stolen property, and felony conspiracy to commit retail theft, filed in May.

On April 26, police responded to TJ Maxx at 1035 Main Street in Warrington for a report of shoplifting, police said. Upon arrival, loss prevention told police that earlier in the day at 3:30 p.m., a man and woman entered the store and began selecting merchandise, police said.

The duo concealed the items in bags, and also used a magnet to take off security tags, police said. They then left the store together without paying, according to the complaint.

All in all, $411.81 of merchandise was taken, with it captured on video surveillance, police said.

All suspects and defendants are innocent until proven guilty. This story was compiled using public court records.
