Warrington Township Police now hiring, resumes due Sept. 20

The department is looking to strengthen its numbers.

 There is a little under a month left to submit applications to be a future Warrington Township cop.

Resumes are due Sept. 20 to be considered as a new police hire for the department. All resumes must be submitted in person at the station at 2330 Lower Barness Road, Warrington.

According to a news release, the 2025 starting base salary is $79,631. The job offers pension, medical benefits, life insurance, education incentives and more.

Furthermore, upon joining, there are a variety of special units to be a part of, including K9, SWAT, Motorcycle Unit and MIRT.

The minimum requirements to apply include the following:

- U.S. Citizen
- 21 years of age
- Act 120 Certified (or enrolled) at tie of appointment
- Physically and mentally fit
- High school graduate or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- No felony or misdemeanor convictions
