Hail and well met, Lords and Ladies, Squires and Wenches and noble folk of Doylestown and beyond!

Gather 'round and lend thine ears to tidings of great mirth and wonder! Upon the forthcoming weekend of August the thirty-first through the second day of September, a grand spectacle of days of yore shall grace our lands at the venerable grounds of The Tileworks in Doylestown. Prepare thyselves for the return of the illustrious Bucks County Renaissance Faire, a festivity of olde, replete with merriment, magic, and medieval marvels.

From the stroke of eleven in the morn until the sixth hour in the evening, the fair shall unfold each day with splendor and enchantment. Within the hallowed grounds of The Tileworks, located upon E. Swamp Road, the world shall transform into a realm of chivalry and revelry – a bustling village of renown, where ye shall encounter noble knights, fair maidens, and a host of whimsical characters from days long past.

At the heart of this grand revelry, ye shall be treated to the jests and merriment of minstrels and jesters, whose songs and antics shall fill the air with joyous laughter.

Hearken to the performances of esteemed entertainers, including:

  • The Foxy Bard, whose melodic tunes and tales shall stir the soul.

  • Daniel GreenWolf, a Celtic magician who shall weave enchantments with his mystic arts and leave thee agog.

  • The Bard Himself Shakespeare Approves!, bringing forth verse and prose of unmatched grandeur to make thine heart swell.

  • Linwe, a bellydance artist whose graceful movements shall captivate thine eyes.

  • Triantán, a trio of musical minstrels whose harmonious strains shall uplift thy spirits.

  • David Darwin, a juggler and sideshow performer whose feats shall leave thee astounded.

  • Pieces of 8, whose vocal prowess shall enchant with melodies and songs.

  • Phoenix Swords, a troupe of sword fighters whose skill and valor shall impress.

  • Krystal Younglove, a strongwoman whose feats of strength shall amaze.

  • Swashbuckling Mercenaries for Hire, a band of roguish riff-raff ready for daring exploits.

  • Rabenwald Metalsmything, a live metalsmith who shall display the ancient art of crafting with fire and forge.

  • Engaging in epic tabletop battles and quests with Dungeons & Dragons and Magic: The Gathering at The Gaming Stronghold.

  • Exploring historic sites and partaking in tours of great renown.

  • Testing thine skills in archery, axe-throwing, and dagger-tossing at The Proving Grounds, where ye may also challenge a knight in combat.

Witness the craftsmanship of skilled artisans, whose stalls are laden with wondrous wares, from gleaming trinkets to fine treasures fit for a king’s court.

The fair's vendors shall offer a feast most delightful, with roasted meats, savory pies, and sweet confections that shall satisfy thy hunger and thirst.

Whether the heavens be fair or tempestuous, the fair shall proceed with joy and splendor. No spirit shall be undaunted. Gates shall open each day at eleven and close at half past five in the eve.

Tickets are priced at $18 for those aged fifteen and above, $9 for squires between five and fourteen, with younglings under four granted free entry. Special rates of $14 are available for veterans, elders of sixty-five years and more, Peace Corps members, and disabled guests.

Gather ye kin and come forth to The Tileworks for a celebration most wondrous, where the spirit of the Renaissance shall spring to life. Let not the gates, closing at half past five, deter thee from experiencing the splendor and joy that awaiteth within.
