NEW BRITAIN TOWNSHIP ACCIDENT

One transported to hospital in accident at Limekiln and Upper State Thursday

 At least one person was taken to Doylestown Hospital for treatment of unknown injuries following a two-car crash a the intersection of Limekiln Pike and Upper State Road in New Britain Township Thursday afternoon.

Emergency personnel were dispatched at 4:01 p.m. for a report of an accident with injuries involving a black NIssan sedan and a light blue Honda SUV.

Both vehicles sustained heavy front-end damage. A second person was evaluated at the scene, but refused transport, per reports.

New Britain Police were assisted at the scene by Chalfont Fire Co., Warrington Fire Co,, Montgomery Township Fire Police, and Chal-Brit EMS.


Traffic was backed up in all directions as fire police navigated everyone through the intersection one direction at a time.
