Jerry Fetter, a teacher of science at Council Rock High School, has found a way to volunteer that brings a smile to his face, and possibly some drool-filled kisses to patients at Doylestown Hospital. No, not from Fetter, but from his three-legged rescue dog, Boomer.
Boomer and Fetter visit patients at the local hospital as part of a dog therapy program, and he’s not the only one. An entire “wall of fame” is dedicated to images of other dogs serving the community by bringing joy to patients.
