Woman scammed out of thousands in online transaction, police say

Pennsylvania State Police out of Dublin in Bucks County is investigating a theft that occurred on Rickert Road in Dublin Borough.

According to authorities, a 58-year-old woman from Kintnersville reported on July 10 at 10 p.m. that she was scammed via an online transaction by unknown individuals who used her personal information.

The victim was scammed out of $11,500, police said.

The investigation is ongoing.
