Turn that frown upside down. Moms are always full of fun advice like that, and one local parent really took it to heart.
During the 2022 global pandemic, mothers of young children were having an additional crisis, unable to find formula on the shelves of local stores. Christine Robinson, a mom in Doylestown, remembers it well, according to a 6ABC report.
Robinson did not sit back idly watching the scary tale unfold, and instead created “Formula Hunters,” a crowd-sourced group of mothers throughout the country that assisted one another in located particular brands and shipping them to each other.
Rose Miller, of Bensalem, was one such mom who could not find the formula she so desperately needed for her child, which later came from New York City resident Mary Hales.
Robinson didn’t stop her spread of good cheer, and has since turned the entire adventure into a children’s book: “The Kindness Formula,” which is being sold on Amazon with a portion of the proceeds going to end childhood hunger.
