Man with history of retail theft convictions nabbed for felonies at Wegmans

A Harrisburg man with three prior convictions for retail theft was charged with two felony offenses for allegedly stealing $100 worth of groceries from Wegmans in Warrington Township.

Anthony Troy Woodard, 50, of the 2000 block of Whitehall Street, was charged Monday with felony counts of retail theft and receiving stolen property for the Aug. 2, 2024 incident, police said.

Police responded to the Wegmans at 1405 Main St., Warrington, at 8:49 p.m.  for a report of a retail theft, per an affidavit. Loss prevention told police that a man, identified as Woodard, took $115.16 of merchandise from the store without paying, police said.

Woodard awaits a date for a preliminary hearing, per court dockets
