Accident with injuries disrupts Bristol Road traffic Friday afternoon

The accident occurred around 2 p.m. at the intersection with Cooper Lane.

 At least one person was taken to an area hospital by Warrington EMS following a two-vehicle crash in Warrington Township Friday afternoon.

According to reports from the scene, the accident occurred at the intersection of Bristol Road and Cooper Lane, and shut down Bristol Road to one lane in both directions.

A dark-colored Honda SUV sustained heavy front-end damage in the crash, and all airbags were deployed, according to reports, and the second car, a dark-colored Ford SUV, sustained heavy front-end damage.

Warrington Township Police responded to the scene as well.
