The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced this week that maintenance activities are scheduled on several state highways in Bucks and Chester counties.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
Monday, August 5, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Kellers Church Road will be closed between Route 611 (Easton Road) and Deep Run Road in Plumstead and Bedminster townships, Bucks County, for pipe replacement. During the closure, motorists are directed to use Route 611 (Easton Road) and Deep Run Road.
Monday, August 5, through Friday, August 9, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Rosedale Road will be closed between Allentown Road and Old Bethlehem Pike in Milford Township, Bucks County, for pipe replacement. During the closure, motorists are directed to use Allentown Road, Route 663 (John Fries Highway/Broad Street), and Old Bethlehem Pike.
Monday, August 5, through Friday, August 9, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Paletown Road will be closed between Route 313 (Doylestown Pike) and Old Bethlehem Pike in Richland Township, Bucks County, for base repair. During the closure, motorists are directed to use Old Bethlehem Pike/Park Avenue, Route 563 (Ridge Road), and Route 313 (Dublin Pike/Broad Street/Doylestown Pike).
Local access will be maintained. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
